JFE Steel hikes plate prices for February orders

Japanese steel producer JFE Steel announced that it will increase its plate prices by Yen 5'000 ($47) per ton. The price increase will be effective for February orders or March-April shipments. Furthermore, the company will revise the extra charges for standard and size. The company will increase its prices in order to offset rising raw material costs, sources reported.
