Japan's crude steel
production rose 9.5 percent year on year to 10 million metric tons in November, the
Japan Iron and Steel Federation has announced.
However, crude steel output fell 0.9 percent compared to the previous month.
For the first eleven months of 2006, Japanese crude steel
production reached 106.2 million metric tons, up 2.7 percent year on year.
