Jalal Abad mine records 158 percent increase in iron ore output

Iran's Jalal Abad mine produced 90,000 mt of iron ore in the first month (March 21-April 20) of the current Iranian year, up 158 percent compared to 35,000 mt in the same month of the last Iranian year - according to the Iranian Mining and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

The Jalal Abad mine also saw exploitation of 360,000 mt of run-of-mine iron ore in the first month of the current year, according to the same source.
