Iran’s iron ore output rises by 22 percent

In the first month (21.03-20.04) of the current Iranian year, Iran's iron ore output amounted to 2.59 million metric tons, increasing by 22 percent year on year.
 
Of this tonnage, about 648,000 mt was produced by Chador Malu, 612,000 mt was produced by Gol-e-Gohar and 545,000 mt was produced by Sang Ahan Markazi.
 
In the given month, Iran's iron ore exports totaled 382,417 mt, up 49 percent, while its domestic iron ore sales were recorded at 1,773,605 mt, up 21 percent, both compared to the same month of the previous Iranian year.
