Iranian state-owned iron ore miners see output rise by six percent

Iranian state-owned iron ore miners produced 2.25 million mt of iron ore in the first month of the current Iranian year (March 21-April 20), representing an increase of six percent year on year, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

In April, East Iron Ore and Jalal Abad Iron Ore were the state-owned miners which recorded the highest increases, up 27 percent and 16 percent year on year respectively.
