Operations at the pelletizing plant of Iranian miner Gol-e-Gohar Iron Ore Co. were stopped in the third week of April in order to carry out tests on the main pipeline which supplies gas to the plant. The testing process will take about 45-60 days, after which the plant will resume its operations.

Gol-e-Gohar Iron Ore's pelletizing plant, the largest pelletizing plant in Iran and which was inaugurated in early April this year, has a nominal capacity of 5 million mt per year.
