"Construction of the fourth agglomerating plant of Esfahan Steel will be completed by the end of June 2010 while about 93 percent of both local and foreign equipment has already been installed," Ramezan Ghorban Ebrahimi, development and planning deputy manager of Iranian state-owned steelmaker Esfahan Steel, said recently.

Esfahan Steel's agglomerating capacity, which is already about 2.4 million mt per year, will be doubled when its fourth agglomerating plant commences operations. The new plant has a capacity of 2.4 million mt per year, compared to an aggregate capacity of 2.4 million mt for the steelmaker's three older agglomerating plants.
