ITC to reconsider wire rod AD determinations

The International Trade Commission (ITC) previously made negligibility determinations of anti-dumping investigations regarding wire rod imports from Egypt, South Africa and Venezuela and consequently terminated the investigations for these countries. However the ITC determinations were appealed to the US Court of International Trade (CIT) upon which the Court decided on June 20, 2002 that the ITC reconsiders its determinations in 43 days, i.e., until August 2, 2002. In the determinations on remand ITC will consider wire rod imports from all sources namely from Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Moldova, South Africa, Ukraine, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Taiwan.
