ITC initiates reviews for duties on certain pipe fittings

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) has recently initiated reviews for the antidumping duty orders on malleable cast iron pipe fittings imported from Japan and Korea. ITC has recently announced that it will conduct five-year reviews to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty orders on malleable cast iron pipe fittings imported from Japan and Korea would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US steel industry. Interested parties are requested to submit their responses for the initiation of the reviews on February 22, 2005 by the latest. In line with the level of interest, ITC will determine whether to conduct full five-year review or expedited reviews (120-day).
