Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that Brescia-based Italian drawn, rolled and forged steel producer Lucefin Group has commenced operations at the last high-speed chain-track drawing machine supplied by Danieli at Lucefin's Trafilix mill. Lucefin Group will produce round, square and hexagonal steel profiles from wire rod on the drawing machine.

The drawing machine, which was built at Danieli’s specialized workshops in Buttrio, Italy, ensures optimal quality surfaces with up to 200 m/min drawing speed and a pulling capacity of five tons and is ready to be integrated with the latest generation of Danieli digital systems.

This is the sixth drawing machine Lucefin Group has ordered from Danieli since 1979.
