Iskenderun-based Turkish mill hikes merchant bar price in local currency

An Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its equal angle (40-120 mm) price at TRY 25,250/mt ($604/mt) ex-works today, October 9, in order to offset the ongoing currency fluctuations. The price indicates a TRY 50/mt rise compared to Tuesday, October 7, while remaining unchanged in US dollar basis over the same period.
