Turkish merchant bar producers have decreased their official domestic merchant bar prices by TRY 100-200/mt ($4-7/mt) week on week against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. Additional discounts are applicable for cash payments. One Iskenderun-based mill issued its equal angle price at TRY 28,200/mt ($602/mt) ex-works today, July 7, also down by TRY 200/mt ($7/mt) over the same period.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in August or from stocks, depending on the size.
