Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have kept their official equal angle export prices unchanged at $590-610/mt FOB, for November shipment, amid sluggish international demand. While a few inquiries are heard from Latin America, Chinese merchant bar re-rollers are very active with their aggressive prices, a source mentioned. "International buyers do not seem not for a price hike yet," another source said. As a result, Turkish merchant bar buyers may focus just on the Balkans and the UK for now.
The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $460-482/mt, versus $450-485/mt CFR last week.
