Turkish merchant bar producers have kept their domestic prices stable over the past week in the local currency, with their prices falling by $2/mt in US dollars, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations. One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its equal angle price at TRY 25,250/mt ($602/mt) ex-works today, October 21.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in November or from stocks, depending on the size.
Most local buyers are in wait-and-see mode until the Turkish Central Bank's interest rate decision due on Thursday, October 23.
