The coronavirus emergency has forced Italian merchant bar producer Beltrame Group to reduce or stop its activities. The company, despite having adopted "increasingly stringent precautionary measures" since February 24 to deal with the spread of the coronavirus, has decided to "suspend industrial activity in the Vicenza plant, while in the other Italian plants located in San Giovanni Valdarno (Arezzo) and San Didero (Turin) activity has been slowed down." To date, no case of Covid-19 has been found among the group's collaborators.

Furthermore, as regards the French company in the group, LME (Laminés Marchands Européens S.A.), the interruption of all direct and indirect activities has been determined from March 17 until March 31, inclusive.
