Turkey’s largest integrated steelmaker Erdemir Group has announced that its subsidiary Isdemir has produced 5 million mt of liquid steel in the current year as of December 16, setting a new Turkish record.
The statement from Erdemir Group said that Isdemir, Turkey’s only steel plant which produces both long and flat steel products, continues to lead the development of the country with the added value it creates. Isdemir plays an important role in increasing the flat steel products capacity which is crucial to the improvement of Turkey’s steel industry. The company also produces billets, coils, slabs, hot rolled coils, plates and pig iron.
