Iran plans to construct two new gas pipelines

Iran's deputy oil minister Hossein Noqrehkar Shirazi has stated that the Iranian government has approved the construction of two new gas pipelines.
 
One of the gas pipelines will connect the South Pars gas fields to Bazargan on Iran's northwestern border. The pipeline, of 56 inches in diameter, will total 1,900 km in length. The other pipeline will connect South Pars to Dasht e Shad in northeastern Iran. Its length will be 1,100 km with a diameter of 56 inches. The capacity of each gas pipeline will be about 110 million m3 per day.
