Interpipe’s steel pipe output increases by 95.5 percent in H1

In the first half of 2010, the pipe producing subsidiaries of Ukraine's Interpipe Corporation (Interpipe) increased their steel pipe output by 95.5 percent to 394,800 mt as compared to the same period of last year.
 
Specifically, in January-June this year, Interpipe NTRP registered a 75 percent increase in its steel pipe production to 163,900 mt, Interpipe NMPP saw its steel pipe output increase by 55.5 percent to 84,100 mt, while Interpipe Niko Tube's steel pipe output rose by 2.7 times to 146,800 mt, all compared to the same period last year.
 
Meanwhile, in June this year, Interpipe NTRP produced 31,000 mt of pipes, NMPP produced 17,300 mt of pipes, while Niko Tube's pipe output amounted to 29,200 mt.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, in the first half of 2010 Ukraine's production of steel pipes increased by 5.5 percent year on year to 774,700 mt.
