Industrial production in Brazil jumps 1.9 percent in February

Brazil's national statistics agency IBGE announced Friday that industrial production output increased 1.9 percent from January to February and rose 6.9 percent from February 2010.

The increase of industrial production in February was observed in 17 out of 27 industrial sectors and reflected the fastest rate of expansion since March 2010.
