India’s MOIL Ltd reports 45% rise in manganese ore output in Apr-Sept

Indian state-run manganese miner MOIL Limited has reported production of 815,000 mt of manganese ore during the April-September period of the fiscal year 2023-24, up 45 percent year on year, according to a company regulatory filing on Tuesday, October 3.

The company reported sales of 757,000 mt during the April-September period, up 57 percent year on year.

As per SteelOrbis’ calculations, MOIL’s production in September was 135,000 mt, increasing by 10 percent year on year.
