South Korean steelmaker Hyundai Steel, which has been manufacturing and supplying I-beams of sizes in a range of 150 x 75 mm -300 x 150 mm, is expected to launch its new larger I-beams with widths in a range of 350-450 mm starting from October.

Consumers of large-size I-beams in South Korea have heavily relied on Japan up to now for supplies, but there have been a lot of their difficulties in securing the necessary products in time. Accordingly, Hyundai Steel is expected to receive significant domestic demand for its new products.

Hyundai Steel is concentrating its efforts on the development of the beams for use in machinery structure and parts
