SteelOrbis Shanghai Hunan Hualin Group's Hengyang Steel Plant successfully passes EU PED and TUV tests for second time. From October 18 to 19, experts carried through a series of evaluations on the dimensions, physical and chemical performances, flaw-detection inspection, product traceability, and other documentation systems of steel pipe (P195GH, P265GH, St52.0, St52.4 and P265TR2) from Hengyang. On October 19, experts announced that Hengyang passed the EU PED and TUV certification tests and expanded their largest specification from 114.3 mm thickness to 365 mm thickness. This means, Hengyang will retain its EU certification for pressure-vessel pipe, creating a good environment for them to explore the overseas market.
