Huaye Steel hikes prices for May

SteelOrbis Shanghai On May 10, Jiangsu province based steelmaker Changshu Huaye released its May ex-factory price list. According to the new list, the prices of galvanized coils increased RMB 650-800/mt ($81-100), and that of color coated coils increased RMB 350/mt ($44). After the adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick galvanized coils became RMB 6,250/mt ($780), and that of 1.0 mm thick galvanized coils became RMB 5,650/mt ($705). The price of 0.47 mm thick color coated coils became RMB 6,700/mt ($836). 17 percent VAT is included in all prices.
