Hengyang Valin Steel Tube Co. Ltd. (Hengsteel), a subsidiary of Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd., both based in the southeastern Chinese province of Hunan, announced recently its successful trial production of A335 P91 pipes of 535 mm diameter and 72 mm wall thickness at its 720 mm diameter pipe mill.

P91 pipe has gradually become the first choice for application in power station boiler units due to the larger volumes and higher parameters of the units. With only a few companies in China having the ability to produce P91 pipes, Hengsteel has boosted its position in the field of high alloy boiler pipes through its successful trial production of A335 P91 pipes.
