Chinese steel producer Hengshui Strip Rolling Co., a subsidiary of major Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has developed production of DR8 cold rolled tinplate sheets and supplied the products to Fujian Kaijing Steel Development Co. (FJKJ). The new product will be applied in the manufacture of pull-tabs for beverage cans.
A good response has been received from the buyer, with FJKJ currently negotiating with Hengshui Strip Rolling for large supply volumes. Hengshui Strip Rolling also plans to export the product to overseas markets.
