Hebei Hongrun HI commences high pressure pipe production
SteelOrbis Shanghai Located in Cangzhou Yancheng County of Hebei Province, Hebei Hongrun Heavy Industries Group has started production of large diameter seamless steel pipe for high pressure use, following a total project investment of RMB 31.2 billion ($3.95 billion). Trial production which began on August 25, 2006, was a complete success. Annual production in Phase I of this project is estimated to reach 30,000 mt of steel pipe for high pressure use. The product is destined mainly for large scale nuclear power station construction.
