Major Chinese steel producer Heibei Iron and Steel Group has announced that its subsidiary Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Hansteel) has inked a contract for the supply of 740 mt of special high-strength automotive grade steel plate with Zhongqi Group Jinan Kogel Special Truck Co. (Jinan Kogel), following its recent delivery of special automotive grade steel plate (totaling 550 mt) to Jinan Kogel for the first time.
Jinan Kogel Special Truck has an annual output capacity of over 10,000 trucks. The steel products in question will be used in the production of trucks for the transportation of iron ore. The customers for these trucks are Chinese mining enterprises in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Ningxia Autonomous Region.
