Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Handan Iron and Steel Group (Hansteel), subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has received an order for 500 mt of steel
plate for application in high quality household appliances from major Chinese household appliance manufacturer Haier Group.
The order includes 400 mt of DX51D+Z-HB 0.45 mm x 1,250 mm galvanized steel
plate and 100 mt of SPCD-HE/SPCD-HB cold rolled coil in thickness of 0.4 mm-0.45 mm and width of 1,040 mm-1,260 mm. Handan Steel will supply the products from its cold rolling plant which also supplies steel for application in household appliances to domestic manufacturers Media Group and Xinfei Group.
