Handan Steel produces new steel plate grades for welded gas cylinders

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Hansteel), a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has successfully produced HP325 and HP345 grade steel plate with thickness up to 12 mm and in a width range of 800-2,130 mm for application in welded gas cylinder production.

Hansteel had previously developed production of HP295 and HP235 grades of steel plate, also for welded gas cylinder production.
