Handan Steel ups ex-factory price for medium plate

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 18, Hebei Province-based Handan Steel hiked its ex-factory prices for medium plate by RMB 240/mt ($31/mt). Following this upward adjustment, the mill's price of 8 mm Q235B common carbon medium plate now costs RMB 4,250/mt ($547/mt), while its price of 14-25 mm Q235 has risen to RMB 3,770/mt ($485/nt). The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of January 18, 2007.
