Handan Steel raises prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Henan province based Handan Steel adjusted some products' ex-factory prices on April 24, 2006. The price of galvanized coil increased RMB 700/mt ($87), and that of color coated coils increased RMB 600/mt ($75). After the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SGCC galvanized coils reached RMB 5,327/mt ($665) including 17 percent VAT, and that of 0.5 mm thick CGCC color coated coils reached RMB 6,170/mt ($770) including 17 percent VAT.
