Guryevsk Metallurgical Works ups crude steel output by 39 percent in 2010

Russia-based steelmaker Guryevsk Metallurgical Works (GMZ), a subsidiary of Russian steel producer ESTAR Holding (ESTAR), saw its crude steel output increase by 39 percent in 2010 compared to 2009, producing 202,900 mt.

Meanwhile, in 2010 GMZ also increased its rolled steel product output by 129 percent to 238,700 mt, and upped its steel grinding balls production by 83 percent to 96,500 mt, both compared to 2009.

In 2010, GMZ's deliveries of steel products doubled on year-on-year basis to 337,900 mt.
