Germany’s industrial producer prices up 0.1 percent in November

In November this year, the index of producer prices for industrial products in Germany increased by 0.1 percent compared to the same month of 2015 and was up 0.3 percent compared to October, according to the country's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). In October this year, Germany's industrial producer prices had decreased by 0.4 percent year on year.
 
In November, prices in the energy sector decreased by 1.7 percent, while prices of non-durable consumer goods rose by 1.5 percent and prices of intermediate goods rose by 0.4 percent, all year on year. Meanwhile, in the month in question, the prices of capital goods and durable consumer goods rose by 0.6 percent and one percent respectively, both compared to November 2015.
