Gazprom announces results of $1 billion pipe supply tender

Russian state gas monopoly Gazprom has announced the results of a tender for pipe supplies with a total value of RUB 34.629 billion (approx. $1 billion).

Pipe Innovation Technologies, which specializes in the packaged supply of tubular goods for construction, reconstruction and repair of oil and gas transportation and storage systems, will supply pipes worth a total of RUB 11.924 billion ($330 million), constituting 34 percent of the overall value of the tender.

Severstal's Izhora Pipe Mill, which specializes in the manufacturing of large diameter pipes, will supply steel pipes worth a total of RUB 5.177 billion ($145 million), while Mechel's Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant will supply pipes worth RUB 6.975 billion ($195 million).

Russia-based TMK, one of the world's leading oil and gas steel pipe producers, will supply steel pipes worth a total of RUB 2.525 billion ($70.685 million), while Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, will supply pipes worth RUB 6.286 billion ($175.97 million).
