Fortescue revises first production date of Iron Bridge project

Australian iron ore miner Fortescue Metals Group has announced that it has revised the first production date for its Iron Bridge Magnetite Project to the second half of April this year, from the March quarter reported previously.

According to the statement, the company continues to make progress on the project, while it tries to manage the impacts of weather on activity.

The capital for the project is estimated at US$3.9 billion.

Iron Bridge will annually produce 22 million mt of high-grade 67 percent Fe magnetite concentrate.
