Foreign direct investment in Ukrainian metallurgy amounts to $5.656 billion

According to Ukraine's State Statistics Committee, as of October 1, 2010, foreign direct investment (FDI) in the country's manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products amounted to $5.656 billion, accounting for 13.3 percent of total foreign investment in Ukraine.

In particular, FDI from Cyprus amounted to $583 million, FDI from Germany totaled $4.6 billion, from the Netherlands reached $43 million, from the UK amounted to $83.9 million, from the British Virgin Islands to $36.6 million, and FDI from the US reached $ 53.7 million.
