FAS initiates administrative case against Evraz

The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has initiated an administrative case against Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz, as the company refused to provide requested information to FAS, during the control procedures under Article 25 of the federal law "On protection of competition".

Currently, FAS is inspecting whether Evraz operates in compliance with the antimonopoly legislation and found the company guilty of violation of the Article 25 of the federal law "On protection of competition".

On February 3 2009, a representative of Evraz appeared before FAS to give explanations with regard to the committed violation as well as to draw up and sign the protocol on the administrative violation.
