Evraz sets up health, safety and environment committee

The Russian steel producing and mining company Evraz Group (Evraz) has announced that it has created a health, safety and environment committee to be run by its board of directors, in order to increase the level of industrial safety, labor protection and care of the environment across its international operations.

Accordingly, the board of the committee is composed of three independent directors, i.e., Gordon Toll (president), Karl Gruber and Terry Robinson. Alexander Kruchini, who has extensive experience in ecology and industrial safety, has been appointed vice president of the committee.
