Eurostat expects 2.7 percent euro area annual inflation in Jan

Annual inflation in the euro area is expected to be 2.7 percent in January, remaining unchanged from the level recorded in December 2011, according to flash estimates released by Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities.

Flash estimates of Eurostat are likely to be revised, following actual data input.
