European commercial vehicle registrations up four percent in Jan-Oct

In October this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the European Union (EU) increased 10.7 percent year on year to 206,487 units, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA). 

In October, among the five big markets, Spain (+20.9%), France (+18.6%) and Germany (+14.5%) recorded the highest gains, all year on year, while the United Kingdom (-9.8%) performed significantly less well than in October last year.

In the January-October period of this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the EU totaled almost 2.0 million units, up four percent on year-on-year basis. Spain (+15.1%),  France (+7.7%), Germany (+3.3%) and Italy (+1.8%) recorded increases, while the UK (-3.9%) market declined , all year on year.
