EU increases quota for Kazakh imports

The steel products import quota for Kazakhstan is agreed to be increased for the imports covering the period of 2002 through to 2004. The increase will work retroactively back from the beginning of year 2002, i.e., January 1, 2002. The agreement allows an increase of 34% for the year 2002, an additional 2.5% for 2003 and another 2.5% for 2004.
