Novosibirsk Metallurgical Works named after Kuzmin (NMZK), a subsidiary of the Russian steel producer ESTAR Holding (ESTAR), has announced that it is continuing to increase the production capacity of its new pipe mill 10-50, in order to reach its designed capacity of 5,600 mt of pipe products per month by May 2009.
Accordingly, during the month of September of the current year, NMZK produced at its mill 10-50 about 930 mt of pipe products, while in October the company plans to produce a total of around 1,100 mt. The annual designed capacity of the mill is a maximum 70,000 mt of pipe products.
The new mill is specialized in the production of 19-48 mm diameter pipes with wall thickness of 1.0 to 3.5 mm.
