The European Commission (EC) decision to impose antidumping duties, the amount of which was defined June 27, 2006, on imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes from Croatia, Romania, Russia and Ukraine come into force today. According to the final decision, the EC established the duties levels as the following:

On March 31, 2005, the EC initiated AD investigation against seamless pipes and tubes imports from Croatia, Romania, Russia and Ukraine, upon the petitions filed by Austrian Voestalpine Tubula, French Vallourec & Mannersmann, German Benteler Stahl/Rohr GmbH, V&M-Deutschland GmbH, Italian Dalmine S.p.a and Spanish Tubos Reunidos.
