South Korean steelmaker Dongkuk Steel Group plans to build a steel plant at Dung Quat Economic Zone in Vietnam at a total investment cost of $1.0 billion.
Details of the mill's production capacity and construction schedule have not yet been made available.
If the project is approved by the Vietnamese authorities, the company will be able to go ahead with the building of the steel plant which will produce steel bars, steel sheets and other steel products.
