Dnipropetrovsk Iron and Steel Works repairs blast furnace No. 2

Ukrainian steelmaker Dnipropetrovsk Iron and Steel Works (Petrovsky), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, has started repairs of the mixer in its oxygen-converter plant. It is scheduled to complete the repair work and put the mixer back in operation at the beginning of June.

In the coming period, the company is also carrying out capital repair work at its blast furnace No. 2. The repair work will include the replacement of charging equipment. The company has already bought new charging equipment and plans to install it by May 25.
