CST starts to supply new grades of slabs

Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderúrgica de Tubarao (CST) has completed its investments and now has the Double Steel Treatment system. This makes the company ready to supply the slab market with new grades of slabs. CST is now in a position to add to its production slabs for API grades up to X-70, slabs for Boilers/Pressure Vessels, shipbuilding grades over DH 36 and others in compliance with the internal standards of many plate and hot strip mills. Besides these new grades, CST is also producing ultra low carbon, high strength low alloy, tin plate and other grades of slabs.
