Cost of rebar remains stable in October in the greater Buenos Aires region

The cost of rebar in the greater Buenos Aires area remained stable in October, according to data released this week by the nation’s institute of statistics and census, Indec.
 
Rebar was among the main products whose cost declined or increased the least in the general expenses category, according to Indec.
 
Rebar costs slightly increased 0.2 percent in October, month-on-month.
 
According to Indec, the cost of civil construction in the greater Buenos Aires area in October rose 4.8 percent, month-on-month. Cost of materials, workforce and general expenses in October increased 1.5, 7.1 and 5.4 percent, respectively, in the month-on-month analysis.
 
As for the accumulated period of January to October, cost of civil construction in Buenos Aires rose 29.7 percent. The cost of materials, workforce and general expenses in the same period grew 23.5, 31.5 and 46.1 percent, respectively, year-on-year, Indec’s data indicated.
