CISA mills' average daily crude steel output down 7.81% in early March

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has announced that in early March (March 1-10) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China - all CISA members - totaled 1.732 million mt, down 7.81 percent compared to late February (February 21-28).

According to the CISA's previous figures, in late February (February 21-28) the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.8787 million mt, up 4.39 percent compared to mid-February (February 11-20).

Meanwhile, as of March 10, the finished steel inventories of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China amounted to 14.6813 million mt, up 5.07 percent compared to February 28.
