CISA: China’s crude steel output shows slight rise in mid-November

According to the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in mid-November (November 11-20) this year China's average daily crude steel output was 1.607 million mt, up 0.4 percent on the figure for early November (November 1-10). China's total crude steel output for the mid-November period was 16.067 million mt.

According to the CISA, in mid-November the 77 large and medium-sized steelmakers in China which are members of the CISA produced 13.375 million mt of crude steel, with their average aggregate daily output reaching 1.338 million mt.

Previously, China's National Bureau of Statistics had indicated that in October this year China's crude steel output was 50.3 million mt, down 3.8 percent year on year.
