ChTPZ to supply LD pipes for Ohansk-Kirov gas pipeline

Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant (ChTPZ), Russian producer of welded and seamless steel pipes and tubes, has announced that in August of the current year it will supply more than 4,000 mt of large diameter (LD) steel pipes to the Russian company Gazprom Invest Yug for the reconstruction of Ohansk-Kirov gas pipeline.

The pipes, with diameter of 720 mm and wall thickness of 8 mm, will be of steel grade 13G1S-U with anticorrosion coating.

Gazprom Invest Yug implements large-scale projects for the construction of crucial gas industry facilities. It is a general contractor of construction projects funded by Russian gas monopoly Gazprom.
